WORLD TOUR OF TARN is a Bar-Steward 'road-movie'. We wanted to show our dear fans what it was like to be on-the-road with the Doonicans so filmed most of the gigs from 2008 and condensed them all into this 80 minute 'rockumentary'. There really was no intention to out-tap Spinal Tap, but as these things happen, we did!

Filmed throughout Barnsley, Sheffield and beyond, this DVD captures the Doonicans doing what they do best... playing hard and having fun! Highlights include a pub-gig invaded by a large chicken and Scott Doonican's Yorkshire Pudding Masterclass.

This DVD also is packed with special features, including lessons in speaking Broad Barnsley and a fact-packed mini-documentary about Barnsley town too.

Sadly, we missed out on a second Oscar for 'Best Film Featuring Knitwear' as we were pipped to the post by a short film about the gaudy pullover industry in Waterford, Ireland circa 1960-1979 featuring some relatively unknown family entertainer that we'd never heard of.
