Folking Around
Recorded live at Sheffield City Hall in the Memorial Hall on 17th October 2010 while supporting the wonderful Eliza Carthy and her parents, the legendary Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson. Playing for a 'folk' audience was always going to be a challenge considering that, altough we use folk instruments, are clearly not folk musicians! However, the audience were very kind and seemed to really enjoy our sense of madness!
We even sneaked off to play to an audience of two in the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall (it actually has a capacity of 2,500) after we'd done... the footage of which may surface on our next DVD!
This 'live bootleg' was lying around on my hard drive and it seemed a shame to waste it, so we decided to put it out for free download via Soundcloud!
